Sep 05, 2012· 1906 brown & sharpe vertical mill I bought this B&S # 1 mill from a friend at work a few months ago and, just now brought it home. The spindle is a #10 B&S and, the last patent date is 1906 . In Copes book there is a 1906 #2 that looks just like it but, my base is different. The base on my mill looks like the ones with a patent date of 1918.
