Jan 10, 2017· Where's your thermostat is relation to the heat source. Coal will do that sometimes, since it takes a while to react. Are you changing the temperature, with the set back or anything? if you go more than 1-2 degrees, it has to try and catch up and then overshoot. normaly most of us just leave it on a set temperature, or raise it 1 or 2 degrees at a time and let it catch up and settle out.
