In this project our main objective is to study the influence of partial replacement of cement with marble powder, and to compare it with the compressive and tensile strength of ordinary M20 concrete. We are also trying to find the percentage of marble powder replaced in concrete that makes the strength of the concrete maximum.

Rakesh Gupta studied on "Partial replacement of cement with marble powder" and concluded that for M 20 grade concrete the compressive strength of cubes are increased with addition of waste marble powder up to 10% replace by weight of cement and further any addition of waste marble powder the compressive strength decreases.

The world wide consumption of sand as fine aggregate in concrete ... namely fly ash, slag, lizenithne powder and siliceous stone powder .

Concrete without cement is possible by the use of fly ash. The Green alternative to use of cement is fly ash which has same properties as that of cement both physically and chemically. Fly ash is an byproduct of thermal power plant as it's waste p...

The durability as well as workability has increased to large extent by use of marble dust as replacement of fine aggregate and coarse aggregate. The effect on properties of concrete were investigated and concluded that optimum percentage for replacement of sand with marble powder in concrete .

Sep 11, 2016· Objective The objective of the project is to study the behavior of marble dust concrete for water curing. Also we are interested to study the compressive strength of marble dust concrete for 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% & 20%. Replacement of cement by marble dust for water curing. The concrete specimens are then allowed for 7 and 28 days for water curing .

The use of waste marble powder (dust) was proposed in partial replacement of cement, for the production of Mortar and Concrete Mix. In particular, tests were conducted on the mortars and concrete mix cured for different times in order to determine their workability, flexural as .

In this experimental study, we had an experimental effect of marble dust powder on the concrete mix by partially replacing cement and sand with the marble powder dust. In this project, we check the effect on mechanical and physical properties of a concrete mix if varying marble powder dust is partially replaced in the concrete mix.

This paper reports the experimental study undertaken to investigate the influence of partial replacement of sand with limestone waste (LSW), with marble powder (M.P) as an additive on the concrete properties. The replacement proportion of sand with limestone waste, 25%, 50%, and 75% were practiced in the concrete mixes except in the concrete mix.

Partial Replacement of Cement to Concrete by Marble Dust Powder and threatening both agriculture and public health. Therefore, utilization of the marble dust in various industrial sectors especially the construction, agriculture, glass and paper industries would help to protect the environment.

Aug 22, 2019· To study the effects of percentage replacement of Sand by marble waste powder on different properties of concrete. 9. To achieve desired strength of M-20 (1:1.5:3) grade of concrete.

reduces the slump of concrete mixes, whereas replacement of sand by marble waste powder up to 20% enhances the slump of the concrete mixes. In concrete production replacement of 5% cement by marble waste powder gives comparable compressive and flexural strength as of marble waste free
